Srinagar, Oct 27 (KNO): The Jammu and Kashmir government on Tuesday said that it is working on introducing winter sports and festivals in Sonamarg, like famous ski-resort Gulmarg. In a reply to a question by Mian Mehar Ali, the minister incharge, per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), said that several initiatives have been undertaken to promote winter tourism activities in Sonamarg. He said that the tourism department has undertaken a series of initiatives to promote winter sports and festivals at Sonamarg, drawing inspiration from the successful tourism model of Gulmarg, with the objective of diversifying and extending Kashmir's winter tourism circuit—(KNO)
